Denver Historic

The original kitchen in this 1922 Alamo Placita bungalow was tucked away in a back corner and lacked both storage and usable workspace. The renovation transformed this small kitchen into a spacious area for cooking and entertaining. Once a confining wall was removed, the space was reconfigured around a central staircase. The design incorporated zones for cooking, storage, and entertaining while maintaining a sense of flow and cohesion. To honor the home’s traditional charm while keeping things clean and timeless, the cabinetry has applied moldings that add subtle character without overwhelming the space.

This project won third place at the 2018 NKBA Rocky Mountain Peak Awards in the Large Kitchen category!
